- To be a center for excellence in elementary education programme in the District.
- To organize pre-service training for prospective teachers and capacity building programmes for in-service teachers, conferences, meetings, seminars and briefing sessions for District education officers and field functionaries.
- To play a key role in planning, design and conducting research activity for various need assessment survey.
- To ensure availability of print rich material and digital resources to support teachers.
- To ensure capacity building of educational administrators, ABEOs, CRCCs & Teachers.
- To conduct action research to solve educational issue & challenges at District level.
- To generate new ideas, innovations, improved practices in education, quality monitoring and supervision etc. By conducting studies and researches both short term and longitudinal and their dissemination among District level functionaries.
- To ensure an inclusive classroom environment by incorporating play, discovery & activity based pedagogy.
- To design strategic interventions at the District, sub-District and institutional levels to address GAPS in competency based learning outcomes.
- To collaborate with other agencies, institutions, organizations for the cause of quality in school education programme.
