 Organizing welcome function for better interaction among student-students, Teacher-students, talent search, orientation about Institutes (DIET & Practicing schools) etc.
 Election / Selection of student’s community.
 Orientation through Activity Based Learning
 Pre-internship programme
o Demonstration of Lessons: Language- Odia, English, Hindi & Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health Art & Work (HAW) etc
o Criticism Teaching
o Review meeting
 Internship in teaching Practice
o Selection of Schools
o Grouping of student teachers for practice teaching class
o Maintenance of attendance registers of pupil teachers.
o Conduct of Practice teaching
o Review meeting at the end of every ten Lessons
o Conduct of project papers, WBA, SBA etc.
o Record of specific behaviour of students / events during the course of practice teaching.
 Conduct of Assignments and Projects
Each student teacher shall have to submit six assignments and two projects in each 100 marks theory paper and proportionate number for 50 marks theory paper to the Head of the institution for internal assessment and feedback
 Organizing Workshop Based Activities (WBA)
 Developing School Based Activities (SBA) materials like
 Organizing TANAYA Adalata- To give justice to the students.
 DIET CABINET: To organize and distribute activities among the students
 Counseling and Guidance by forming Proctorial groups.
 Organizing Seminars works on Teacher’s Day and Science Day to infuse quality
 Organizing Exhibitions:
o TLM Exhibitions
o Science Exhibitions
o Mathematics Exhibitions
 Organizing Community Survey:
 Internal test and feedback
 Infusing the concept of population education, environmental education, sanitation and hygienic education in the process of literary competitions.
 Inculcation of values by organizing mass prayer, campus cleaning, gardening, debate, study tour, picnic etc.
 Observation of National Days:
 Annual sports and function
 Conduct of cultural Activities on Durga Puja, Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja, Teachers’ Day, etc.
 Academic year closing ceremony.
