Govt. Elementary Teacher Education Institution, Baliguda  was come into existence in the year 2014. This institution is situated near about 40 km away from the Kashmir of Odisha i.e. Daringbadi in Kandhamal District. Hence it has been offering two-year D.L.Ed course to them who are going to be teacher in Elementary schools. It has intake capacity of 50 students where 50% seats is reserved for Kandhamal District and 50 % seats is for All- Odisha Category students and selected through entrance mode. However, this institution provides quality training programme  to the pupil- teachers.
