MISSION AND VISION
- To make the Institute a centre of excellence for Preservice and Inservice Education
- To develop positive attitude of the pre-service teacher trainees towards the teaching profession
- To unfold and develop the teaching aptitude of teacher trainees
- To make teacher trainees competent and effective teachers by organising programmes & activities in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor development areas
- To develop proper attitude & skill in teacher trainees to meet with the challenging situation and issues in school and out of school activities outside the school.
- To develop all the desirable qualities in teacher trainees so that they can discharge their role as friends, philosopher and guide to student and convert them to human resources for the nation building and for a peaceful and progressive world
- To organise all the curricular and co-curricular activities of CTE for the scholastic and co-scholastic development of the teacher trainees.
- To plan, execute and monitor all the activities of CTE
- To conduct research, action research and innovations for quality improvement
- To organise training Programmes, workshops and seminars for academic growth
- To organise in-service Teacher Training Programme for Secondary School Teachers.
- To apply Technology in Education ,Audio visual materials ,electronic device ,Telephone and INTERNET ,ICT & MIS for better quality improvement.
- To provide pedagogical inputs to the teachers of adopted schools
- To conduct programmes for making the Teacher Trainees. Faculties and other employees Computer Literate
- To make planning for updating the knowledge of the Teaching faculties , other employees of CTE, Teacher Trainees & In-service Secondary Teachers
- To conduct training need analysis and training modules.
- To conduct impact studies to study effect of training in class rooms ,processes and learning out comes.
- To make school visits & class room observation .
- To prepare guidelines for plan activities including training and projects.
- To plan for the quality improvement of the CTE infrastructure and beautification of College campus
