The Institute is located on the bank of the River Mahanadi of the thousand year old silver city of Cuttack. It is surrounded by the Institutions like the Barabati Stadium, The Odisha State Police Headquarter, Odisha Public Service Commission, The Samaj News Paper Office. The area carries the memory of Odisha’s previous Secretariat which had its beginning here and it still bears the name “Old Secretariat”.
