Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
Admission into the B.Ed. course is made through an entrance test conducted by the Central Selection Board, Odisha, Bhubaneswar which functions in the Directorate of Teacher Education & SCERT. The Director, TE & SCERT being the Chairman of the Central Selection Board. The qualifying for degree for admission is at least a bachelor degree in Arts or Science. Attendance in theory, practical and craft classes is compulsory. Attendance in 75% of lecture classes is essential to be eligible for university examinations as per rules provided by the University at different stages of course. Being a Govt. Institute it follows the provisions of the Odisha Education Code. The College was establish in the year 1968 with an initial students strength 64. subsequently the strength of the institute was raised from 64 to 128 in 1971-1972 and later on it was reduced to intake capacity to 100.
